Senior Director of Diagnostics Revenue

Job Summary

To provide strategic and operational leadership for revenue recognition and financial reporting processes, the full-time Senior Director of Diagnostics Revenue will build and lead a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and partnering with cross-functional leadership to optimize revenue and reimbursement outcomes in a hybrid/remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior subject matter expert on diagnostics revenue accounting, advising stakeholders on complex issues and scalable best practices
• Partner with executive leadership to influence contract strategy and reimbursement models that optimize revenue outcomes while maintaining compliance
• Lead the development of a high-performing revenue organization, ensuring clear operating rhythms and professional development for the team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 16+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience
• 12+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting under ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP
• 10+ years of people leadership experience in a high-growth or transformational environment
• 8+ years of experience in revenue accounting and revenue cycle operations for a healthcare or diagnostics provider
• Exceptional technical accounting background with deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
