Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the operational execution and continuous improvement of customer and partner onboarding, Know Your Customer (KYC), and Due Diligence (DD) functions, the full-time Senior Director of Due Diligence will lead a remote team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while driving operational efficiency and quality across workflows.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Onboarding & Due Diligence function, ensuring compliance and efficiency in KYC, DD, and Customer Identification Program (CIP) workflows
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, establishing performance expectations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during regulatory examinations, ensuring the program is examination-ready and managing audit findings to closure
Required qualifications
  • 10-12+ years of experience in BSA/AML compliance, with significant experience in KYC, DD, and onboarding at a federally regulated financial institution
  • Minimum of 7 years of direct management experience in compliance operations teams
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related field preferred
  • Deep expertise in KYC/DD requirements and the risk-based approach to customer due diligence
  • Experience leading regulatory examinations and internal audits, including preparation and management of findings
