Job Summary
Leading the employee communications strategy, the full-time remote Senior Director of Employee Communications will define frameworks, partner with senior leaders, and oversee large-scale internal communications to keep approximately 8,000 employees informed and engaged during a pivotal growth phase.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement Zillow's employee communications strategy for a distributed workforce
- Partner with senior leaders to ensure clear and authentic communication through ghostwriting, coaching, and advising
- Lead communications for company all-hands and significant internal events in collaboration with Legal, HR, and Finance
Required qualifications
- 12+ years in communications with significant experience in internal or employee communications
- 4+ years of experience managing people leaders
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Proven ability to navigate change communications with precision and empathy
- Experience working directly with senior leaders on sensitive messaging
