Senior Director of Engineering

Job Summary

As a full-time remote opportunity, the Senior Director of Engineering will tackle technical challenges for the MARVEL SNAP team, overseeing a talented group of engineers to enhance tools and systems that deliver exceptional gameplay experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure optimal performance from the engineering and QA teams while acting as the technical visionholder for long-term solutions
• Own the delivery pipeline, removing friction to deliver quality features to players efficiently
• Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering growth and career development through meaningful interactions and actionable plans

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in shipping and operating a live-service game
• Track record of managing external development partners or vendors
• Experience leading engineering teams through the challenges of long-term live service games
• Strong familiarity with Unity, AWS, Git, and .NET
• Ability to set strategic direction while being hands-on when necessary
