Senior Director of Engineering
Job Summary
Leading a diverse engineering organization, the full-time Senior Director of Engineering will manage approximately 40 engineers across the US and India, overseeing the customer-facing application layer of the Forward platform while ensuring technical excellence, quality, and effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the Applications organization, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
- Own end-to-end product engineering and delivery, partnering with Product Management and UX to drive successful outcomes
- Drive technical excellence and quality across the application stack, ensuring high standards for performance and maintainability
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven experience managing a sizable, multi-team engineering organization
- Strong technical background in building enterprise software with the ability to evaluate architecture and design decisions
- Track record of delivering complex software products with accountability for schedule and quality
- Experience collaborating closely with Product Management and UX/Design to influence product strategy
