Senior Director of Enterprise Risk

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of enterprise risk management programs, the full-time Senior Director of Enterprise Risk will drive a cohesive risk strategy, strengthen risk frameworks, and enhance insights while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the ongoing development of Affirm's Enterprise Risk Management program to align with strategic priorities and governance structures
• Oversee and mature key enterprise risk programs including Operational Risk and Third Party Risk Management, ensuring integration and alignment with the broader risk framework
• Enhance risk analytics and reporting for executive leadership, identifying emerging risks to support informed decision-making

Required qualifications

• 12-15+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, or technology, with expertise in risk, audit, or compliance functions
• Proven experience in leading and maturing enterprise risk frameworks in high-growth environments
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect risk management to business objectives
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment
• Track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, preferably with experience in data-driven environments
