Senior Director of Epidemiology

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Epidemiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the epidemiology strategy for assets/indications, developing plans for deliverables such as literature reviews and clinical trial design
• Design and execute epidemiology deliverables, author protocols, and oversee the work of other epidemiologists and vendors
• Provide epidemiology leadership across clinical development, safety, regulatory, and commercial activities, ensuring integration of epidemiology perspectives in key deliverables

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• PhD / DSc / DrPH in epidemiology or a relevant advanced science degree with at least 12 years of related industry experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacoepidemiologic methods and real-world oncology data sets
• History of publications showcasing successful design and execution of epidemiologic research
• Knowledge of drug and clinical development processes for genomic/targeted medicines
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
