Senior Director of Firmware Engineering

Job Summary

Driving strategic customer engagement, the remote Senior Director of Firmware Engineering will manage a team of engineers, oversee the delivery of innovative technology solutions, and ensure high-quality outcomes while maintaining strong relationships with key customers.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key customers, ensuring satisfaction through high-quality solutions
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices
• Define and implement quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards in deliverables and proactively mitigate project risks

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record in customer-facing roles
• Deep understanding of AI/ML infrastructure, hardware accelerators, and software stacks for large-scale training and inference
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools and high-speed IO protocols
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced studies in Business/Operations/Technology are recommended
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building customer relationships
