Job Summary
Leading the product development process in a hybrid work environment, the full-time Senior Director of Footwear Development will oversee the creation of innovative and sustainable footwear products, ensuring alignment with market demands and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Set the vision and strategy for the product development process to ensure successful product launches
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure materials and production meet specifications
- Mentor and inspire the development team while driving process improvement and collaboration across projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of twelve (12) years of product development or related experience
- At least four (4) years of experience leading a team
- Significant knowledge of footwear construction and 3D design and development
- Experience in a sophisticated matrixed organization with a global scope
- Outstanding project management skills and the ability to work independently in ambiguous situations
