Senior Director of Global Privacy

Job Summary

Leading the global privacy strategy and data protection program, the full-time Senior Director of Global Privacy will act as the Data Protection Officer while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Trulioo's global privacy and data protection strategy across various markets and products
• Oversee privacy program operations, including privacy impact assessments, data governance policies, and incident response protocols
• Advise and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to integrate privacy by design into product development and operations

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, or regulatory advisory roles, with significant in-house experience
• Extensive knowledge of GDPR, U.S. state privacy laws, and Canadian privacy laws
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a senior privacy leader or Data Protection Officer in a global technology environment
• Practical experience with privacy impact assessments, data mapping, and privacy incident response
• Law degree or equivalent legal/privacy qualification; membership in good standing with a relevant law society or bar is preferred
