Job Summary
Leading the global privacy strategy and data protection program, the full-time Senior Director of Global Privacy will serve as the Data Protection Officer, providing guidance on privacy regulations and governance while collaborating across various departments in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and lead Trulioo's global privacy and data protection strategy across priority markets and products
- Mature the privacy program operations, including privacy impact assessments and incident response
- Advise on privacy risks and compliance for product development and market expansion initiatives
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, or related legal and risk leadership roles
- Extensive expertise in GDPR, U.S. state privacy laws, and Canadian privacy laws
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a senior privacy leader in a complex, global technology environment
- Practical experience with privacy impact assessments, data mapping, and incident response
- Law degree or equivalent legal/privacy qualification; membership in good standing with a relevant law society or bar is strongly preferred
