Senior Director of Government Systems

Job Summary

Leading the creation and expansion of a new Government Systems Business Unit, the full-time Senior Director of Government Systems will manage business development and long-term strategy to deliver innovative 5G and Direct-to-Device technologies to public sector clients, ensuring they have access to reliable satellite connectivity in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define the multi-year strategic vision and operational framework for the Government Systems Business Unit
• Drive prime contract capture and manage the business unit's budget and P&L for sustainable growth
• Lead end-to-end Go-to-Market execution tailored for government agencies and defense partners

Required qualifications

• Experience developing and leading business units focused on government tactical or special communications
• Proven track record in Go-to-Market strategy execution for dual-use technology products
• Technical expertise in 5G, D2D, or advanced cellular networking protocols
• Engineering degree or strong technical background for collaboration with R&D teams
• Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain one
