Senior Director of Information Security

Job Summary

To lead information security initiatives, the full-time Senior Director of Information Security will manage strategic governance, policy development, and budget oversight while providing hands-on technical leadership in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and optimize security processes and technical controls to protect digital assets and prevent unauthorized access
• Develop and enforce institutional IT security policies and programs in compliance with relevant legal regulations
• Oversee incident response efforts and serve as the primary technical lead during security incidents or data breaches

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity and IT experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience managing enterprise security solutions, SIEM systems, and cloud security architectures
• Direct experience leading incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management
• Proven ability to interpret and enforce compliance requirements and security standards
