Senior Director of Internal Controls

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Internal Controls & Remediation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage teams responsible for cross-functional Self-Identified Issues and Risk Event projects from reporting to closure
• Provide guidance on Consumer Lending regulations and enhance team processes and methodologies
• Lead project scoping and discussions to identify solutions and ensure project milestones are met

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in a financial institution focusing on Risk, Controls, Governance, and Compliance
• Proven experience in Cross-functional Project and Process management
• Strong understanding of installment lending
• BS in a quantitative field required; Master's Degree preferred
• Leadership experience in self-assessments and understanding of the 3 Line of Defense COSO model preferred
