Senior Director of IT Security

Job Summary

To enhance the technology risk posture and compliance framework, the full-time remote Senior Director of IT Security will manage SOX ITGC oversight, develop a unified Technology Risk, Threat, and Controls Library, and deliver executive-level risk reporting while advising senior leadership on technology risk and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with control owners to mature SOX ITGCs, drive automation, and monitor compliance of control design and effectiveness
• Build and govern the enterprise Technology Risk, Threat, and Control Library, ensuring alignment with NIST CSF 2.0 and other regulatory frameworks
• Develop executive reporting on technology risk posture, emerging threats, and remediation progress while serving as a trusted advisor on risk management and control design

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Cybersecurity, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in technology risk, IT audit, or information security, with at least 7 years in leadership roles
• Deep expertise in SOX ITGCs and technology risk management within a complex public company environment
• Strong understanding of AI risk management and practical experience with AI solutions
• Proven ability to communicate effectively at the executive and Board levels, including authoring risk narratives and updates
