Job Summary
Leading the commercial, privacy, and product legal functions, the fully remote Senior Director of Legal Affairs will manage complex technology transactions, provide strategic legal guidance across various teams, and mentor legal professionals to support scalable growth and mitigate legal risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company's commercial contracting function, drafting and negotiating high-value agreements
- Provide legal advice on global privacy and data protection matters, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Product and Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- J.D. degree and active U.S. bar membership in good standing
- 10+ years of legal experience with a focus on complex technology transactions and SaaS agreements
- In-house legal experience, preferably in a high-growth technology or SaaS company
- Strong knowledge of global privacy and data protection laws
- Experience advising product and engineering teams on legal matters throughout the product lifecycle
