Senior Director of M&A

Job Summary

To drive strategic growth initiatives, the full-time Senior Director of M&A will manage and execute significant transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and licensing, while collaborating closely with leadership and cross-functional teams in a Princeton, NJ office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the structuring and negotiation of major transactions, guiding the deal process from initial contact to execution
• Support the M&A and BD&L Leadership team by managing the pipeline of opportunities and providing strategic insights and analyses
• Conduct valuation and financial analyses for assigned transactions, ensuring rigorous decision-making processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, JD, PhD) preferred
• 12 years of relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical sectors, with a strong background in M&A and BD&L
• Proven expertise in financial analysis, deal structuring, and negotiations
• Strong strategic thinking skills with an established network in the biopharmaceutical industry
• Experience in mentoring and providing peer leadership is a plus
