Job Summary
To drive impactful healthcare solutions, the full-time Senior Director of Medical Economics will develop cost and utilization performance reporting, analyze healthcare data, and provide strategic insights to optimize member outcomes in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze medical and pharmacy claims data to assess program effectiveness and inform decision-making
- Conduct program evaluations using advanced statistical techniques and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies for improving healthcare outcomes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience as a healthcare analyst or data scientist, with strong quantitative skills
- Expertise in cost and utilization analytics, including familiarity with medical and pharmacy claims data
- In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, including managed care and integrated care systems
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, R, or Python
