Senior Director of Payments

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Payments to lead the implementation of a new payment processing solution and improve enterprise payment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering and development of an RFP for a new payment processing solution
• Evaluate vendors and oversee the implementation of a second payment platform across the organization
• Manage the transition and operational coordination across more than 24 payment types and multiple locations

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare payments, revenue cycle management, or payment technology leadership
• Strong experience with healthcare transaction standards including 835 and 837
• Proven experience leading payment platform implementations or large-scale payment system transitions
• Deep knowledge of provider payment operations, claims processing, and revenue cycle workflows
• Experience developing RFPs, vendor evaluations, and payment solution selection processes
