Senior Director of Payroll Operations

Job Summary

Leading a global payroll operations department, the full-time Senior Director of Payroll Operations will manage payroll processing, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulations while collaborating with cross-functional teams and serving as the primary contact for key clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of global payroll processing, including data entry, validation, calculation, and distribution
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize payroll processes and enhance service quality
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide leadership and support to the payroll operations team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 20+ years of experience in global payroll operations management with a proven track record
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, systems, and regulations, including domestic and international operations
• Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus
