Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Senior Director of Performance Marketing will own the end-to-end performance marketing strategy across paid search, paid social, programmatic display, and emerging channels while managing a significant media budget and establishing measurement frameworks for data-driven decision-making.

Key responsibilities
  • Own the full-funnel performance marketing strategy for user acquisition and re-engagement across Yahoo's consumer product portfolio
  • Build and scale the performance marketing function by hiring, developing, and leading a team of managers and specialists
  • Partner with Data Science & Experimentation to design and interpret incrementality tests and media mix models for budget allocation
Required qualifications
  • 12+ years in performance marketing, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing large teams and media budgets
  • Deep channel expertise in SEM, paid social, programmatic display, or affiliate marketing with measurable growth outcomes
  • Strong analytical foundation, including fluency in attribution models and data visualization tools
  • Proven experience scaling performance marketing programs at a large consumer internet or media company
  • Hands-on familiarity with agentic AI marketing tools and leading demand-side platforms (DSPs)
