Senior Director of Philanthropy

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Philanthropy and Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a principal gift donor portfolio to achieve the annual $100 million fundraising goal
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Financial Development to engage high-net-worth donors and maintain partnerships with YMCA affiliates
• Lead meetings with prospective funders and ensure funding proposals align with donor interests and organizational priorities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; advanced degree strongly preferred
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
• Deep functional expertise and thought leadership in fundraising
• Experience overseeing multiple teams or functions
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision and manage departmental strategies
