Senior Director of Philanthropy Communications

Job Summary

As a strategic communications leader, the full-time Senior Director of Philanthropy Communications will develop compelling donor-centered content and manage donor relations initiatives remotely, partnering with key stakeholders to inspire transformational giving.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling proposals, cases for support, and solicitation materials for major gift opportunities
• Create donor-focused communications, including impact reports and stewardship materials
• Lead the development of key messaging and strategic communications initiatives supporting philanthropy efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements
• 5+ years of experience in philanthropy communications, donor relations, or related fields
• Experience in complex healthcare, academic medicine, or large nonprofit organizations preferred
• Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
• Proven project management experience with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
