Senior Director of Platform Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director Platform Engineering to guide the adoption of a Site Reliability Engineering model and improve infrastructure-as-code pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage high-performance engineering teams and contribute to strategic activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable applications
• Lead the implementation of observability tools and drive continuous improvement in applications and processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (additional four years of hands-on work experience)
• 10+ years of experience with AWS and large-scale application design and operation
• 6+ years of experience managing a DevOps/SRE or Engineering organization
• Expertise in building automated infrastructures, preferably in AWS, EKS, Gitlab, and Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and IaC pipelines, as well as observability tools
