Senior Director of Prior Authorization Governance
Job Summary
Leading the enterprise-wide Prior Authorization governance strategy, the full-time Senior Director of Prior Authorization Governance will oversee optimization efforts across various business lines while collaborating with multiple departments to ensure compliance and operational efficiency in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Direct the enterprise PA governance strategy and oversee decision-making frameworks for PA requirement changes
- Conduct semi-annual and annual reviews of PA rules and authorization requirements to ensure alignment with clinical best practices
- Analyze trends and implement initiatives to enhance PA processes, reducing administrative burdens and improving member and provider experiences
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of product development/management or related experience
- 10+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience
- Experience with product planning, development, execution, and financials across different market segments
- Expertise in Prior Authorization and Utilization Management
