Senior Director of Product Counsel

Job Summary

Senior Director of Product Counsel is a full-time position responsible for providing strategic legal counsel across the product lifecycle, leading AI legal programs, and advising on technology transactions and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead AI legal program and advise on related compliance and governance frameworks
• Provide embedded legal support to product management and engineering teams throughout product development
• Draft and negotiate complex technology agreements and support IP-related workstreams in corporate transactions

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and good standing with at least one State Bar
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in law firm and/or in-house legal positions, with significant experience in intellectual property and technology transactions
• Engineering or relevant technical degree with experience in software or high technology industries
• Deep knowledge of AI and machine learning legal issues and emerging regulations
• Demonstrated senior leadership capability with the ability to influence at the executive level
