Senior Director of Product Development

Job Summary

Accountable for on-time delivery of the entire product roadmap across multiple platforms, the full-time Senior Director of Product Development will lead a multi-Director organization, manage a significant engineering budget, and serve as the escalation authority for product and dependent roadmaps in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product delivery across Satellite, Streaming Managed Hardware, and BYOD platforms, ensuring timely execution of the product roadmap
• Serve as the delivery escalation authority, partnering with VP- and AVP-level Engineering leaders to mitigate execution risks
• Lead and develop a manager-of-managers organization, overseeing multiple Directors and a team of Product Owners/Managers, while managing vendor and budget performance

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of product development experience, including 4+ years as a software engineer/developer
• Proven track record of managing a multi-million-dollar engineering/vendor budget and product delivery at scale
• Experience leading vendor-heavy organizations with a focus on vendor selection and performance management
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Deep expertise in Agile/SAFe delivery and program management, including PI planning and story-quality governance
