Senior Director of Product Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the Product Engineering organization in a full-time remote capacity, the Senior Director of Product Engineering will manage engineering teams, establish operational models, and drive product delivery across multiple portfolios while ensuring quality and reliability standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop leadership within the Product Engineering organization, including hiring and performance management
• Establish a consistent engineering operating model and oversee engineering delivery against committed roadmaps
• Set technical direction and approve significant architecture and technology decisions within the Product Engineering team

Required qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering, with at least 8 years in management and 5 years managing managers
• Experience leading an engineering organization of 75+ people and demonstrated success in improving underperforming teams
• Proven track record of delivering data and analytics products at scale
• Experience building and enforcing an engineering operating model across multiple product lines
• Strong executive presence and effective communication skills with non-engineering stakeholders
