Senior Director of Project Controls

Job Summary

To lead integrated cost, estimating, scheduling, and risk management across a growing portfolio, the full-time Senior Director of Project Controls will establish enterprise governance and performance indicators while safeguarding margins and preventing costly delays in hyperscale data center builds, all in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and govern a Project Controls Center of Excellence, ensuring uniform methodologies and data governance
• Lead monthly forecasting, cost modeling, and variance analysis to maintain budget integrity
• Manage and mentor distributed teams, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project alignment and delivery

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Program Project Controls or Cost Management for large capital data center programs
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams, including external partners and contractors
• Advanced proficiency with enterprise reporting tools such as Primavera P6 and Oracle Unifier
• Deep understanding of data center construction economics and cost management, including Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
