Senior Director of Provider Issues

Job Summary

Leading a multi-disciplinary team, the remote Senior Director of Provider Issues will manage escalated provider issue resolution, develop scalable operating models, and partner across various operational teams to enhance service governance and issue remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a provider issue resolution organization focused on strategic support and complex issue resolution
• Build scalable operating models for escalated provider issues, including standards for intake, triage, and service metrics
• Oversee the resolution of high-impact provider issues requiring coordination across multiple operational teams

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in healthcare operations or related fields
• 7+ years of senior leadership experience managing multi-team operational functions
• Experience in complex issue resolution and operational transformation within a healthcare environment
• Strong understanding of payer operations, including claims and provider service workflows
• Proven ability to build operating models and accountability mechanisms across teams
