Senior Director of Quality Control

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership for analytical development and quality control, the remote Senior Director of Quality Control will oversee the full QC lifecycle from development through commercialization, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the global analytical development and quality control strategy aligned with corporate objectives
• Own the end-to-end analytical and QC lifecycle, including product release and post-approval lifecycle management
• Lead cross-functional teams as a senior CMC leader, influencing development strategy and timelines

Required qualifications

• Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
• 18+ years of experience in analytical development and quality control for pharmaceutical products
• Proven success in building and leading analytical or QC organizations
• Strong knowledge of animal health regulatory requirements, including FDA CVM
• Extensive experience with analytical method development and GMP QC operations
