Senior Director of Real World Data
Job Summary
To drive clinical development and evidence generation, the remote Senior Director of Real World Data will define and implement the RWD strategy and pipeline, manage informatics operations, and lead a team to transform diverse datasets into regulatory-grade assets.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the operations and continuous improvement of the RWD curation pipeline, integrating AI and agentic workflows for enhanced data quality and efficiency
- Architect and maintain a scalable RWD platform capable of ingesting and harmonizing complex datasets from various sources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the RWD pipeline meets diverse clinical, scientific, and commercial objectives
Required qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- At least 12 years of progressive experience in clinical informatics with a focus on RWD, including EHR and claims data
- Proven experience building and leading high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams for at least 10 years
- Demonstrated success in a matrixed organization, collaborating with internal and external partners
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, terminology normalization, and experience with Python, R, and/or SQL
