Senior Director of Revenue Accounting
Job Summary
Leading the global revenue accounting organization, the remote Senior Director of Revenue Accounting will manage order management, billings, collections, and revenue recognition while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and driving operational improvements across multiple functions.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the global revenue accounting and OTC operation functions, shaping the controllership roadmap to support company growth
- Own the accounting for all revenue streams and commissions, ensuring timely and accurate financial results and metrics reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define contract structures and strengthen the internal control environment
Required qualifications:
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting and industry leadership in a multi-entity, public-company SOX environment
- Hands-on experience improving ERP workflows and automation, particularly with NetSuite or similar systems
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, and revenue cycle operations
- Demonstrated success in leading teams through scale and process improvement
- Proven ability to influence cross-functionally and communicate effectively with senior leaders and auditors
