Senior Director of Revenue Accounting
Job Summary
To lead the technical revenue accounting function and oversee the end-to-end billing and collections operation, the full-time remote Senior Director of Revenue Accounting will manage ASC 606 compliance, billing operations, and team development while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and efficient order to cash processes.
Key responsibilities
- Own ASC 606 revenue recognition and set revenue policy, ensuring compliance across various revenue streams
- Lead the end-to-end order to cash function, including billing operations, cash application, and collections management
- Drive AI and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and redesign workflows for scalability
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in revenue accounting and billing operations, including 5+ years in a leadership role
- Deep expertise in ASC 606 and experience with complex revenue recognition scenarios
- Proven track record in scaling high-volume billing operations in a multi-entity, global environment
- Experience with NetSuite and familiarity with billing systems like Zone or Salesforce
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
