Senior Director of RWD Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the end-to-end engineering vision for real-world data infrastructure, the full-time Senior Director of RWD Engineering will design and implement scalable, cloud-native data products and pipelines, collaborating with multi-functional teams to enhance evidence generation for healthcare analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-native data products and high-throughput data pipelines for real-world data
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of RWD data products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across cloud environments
• Establish standard engineering practices across the data asset lifecycle, including automated data ingestion, quality checks, and documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on data engineering experience with a focus on healthcare or life sciences RWD
• Minimum of 5 years of applied expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) related to real-world healthcare data
• Minimum of 3 years of direct people management experience, including leading and developing team members
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark) for large-scale RWD processing
