Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Director of Sales for Public Sector / Government Solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the sales strategy for U.S. Public Sector clients, including Federal, State & Local Government and Higher Education institutions
- Lead the pursuit and closure of complex, multi-million dollar contracts while maintaining strong customer relationships
- Direct and develop a high-performing sales team, focusing on hiring, career development, and achieving annual quotas
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in leading successful sales functions, with significant time in senior management roles
- 10+ years of experience working with the U.S. Public Sector, including Federal, State & Local Government and Higher Education clients
- Deep experience in Data, Information Services, and Technology products, especially in data analytics and digital transformation
- Proven track record in leading large teams and driving organizational change
- Experience with managing significant budgets and achieving financial targets
