Job Summary
Leading the sales efforts for Target brands, the full-time Senior Director of Sales will manage a team to maximize growth, develop strategic customer relationships, and enhance processes while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Target Sales team to drive growth and improve sales processes
- Develop and manage strategic planning for annual business at Target, ensuring alignment with operating company strategies
- Recruit, develop, and inspire the sales team while fostering a positive organizational culture
Required Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in CPG Sales and/or Retail Merchant/Buyer roles, with a preference for 5+ years at Target
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams with at least 5 years of people leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of P&L and Trade Budget management
- Experience utilizing syndicated databases and customer-specific portals for Target
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a track record of building customer relationships
