Senior Director of SIS Development

Job Summary

Leading the development and management of the Student Information System (SIS) within the Business Technology Solution group, the full-time Senior Director of SIS Development will ensure system performance and technical operations while collaborating with university partners to enhance the SIS ecosystem, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the technical aspects and operational performance of the SIS, ensuring effective integration and collaboration across systems
• Manage a team of development professionals, promoting knowledge development and supporting career progression within the team
• Drive strategic discussions around SIS technologies, including AI-based solutions, and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience, particularly with Ellucian/Banner SIS systems
• Experience leading a team of 5 or more direct reports
• Proven track record in managing budget and contract negotiations exceeding $5 million
• Experience in program management and leading large-scale projects across teams
• Familiarity with AI components and cross-system AI coordination
