Senior Director of Software Engineering

Job Summary

Seeking a visionary Senior Director of Software Engineering & Architect, this full-time remote position will lead the design and architecture of enterprise-scale systems, mentor engineering teams, and drive strategic technology initiatives to align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect event-driven systems for real-time order management and trade execution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in financial trading or high-frequency transaction processing
• Extensive experience with event streaming platforms and event-driven architecture patterns
• Proven expertise in cloud deployments, preferably AWS, and microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks for financial transaction systems
