Senior Director of Software Engineering

Job Summary

To lead multiple teams of product-focused software engineers, the full-time Senior Director of Software Engineering will manage the development of customer-facing applications and back-end systems, while working remotely or from various locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and grow teams of software engineers, mentoring their professional development
• Collaborate with product managers to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios
• Drive continuous improvement in software engineering practices and oversee the deployment of applications into AWS environments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 9 years of experience in software engineering
• At least 7 years of experience in people management
• Experience with various technologies including Java, Node.js, and cloud infrastructure
• Proven ability to work within Agile teams
