Senior Director of Statistical Innovation

Job Summary

Providing senior advisory input in the design of therapeutic area and product development strategies, the full-time remote Senior Director of Statistical Innovation will manage complex clinical study designs, promote innovative methodologies, and guide cross-functional teams to enhance drug development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Advises on product strategy and clinical study design in partnership with therapeutic area leaders and governance bodies
• Provides advanced statistical and methodological expertise to support major development decisions and regulatory interactions
• Builds strategic partnerships across functional teams to promote innovative design and analysis methods throughout the development process

Required qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Statistics/Biostatistics or related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 9 years, or a Bachelor's degree with 11 years of experience in Statistics/Biostatistics
• At least 5 years of experience managing teams or leading projects in a biopharmaceutical setting
• A minimum of 12 years of post-graduate statistical experience in clinical trial design and execution
• Demonstrated strategic statistical leadership at the product level for complex programs
• Expertise in advanced statistical analysis methods and modeling/simulation techniques
