Job Summary
Driving growth with strategic customers, the full-time Senior Director of Strategic Accounts will lead go-to-market strategies, manage a high-performing global sales team, and engage with executive-level stakeholders to enhance relationships and accelerate revenue in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to increase bookings, revenue, and market share across strategic accounts
- Own quarterly and annual financial commitments, ensuring alignment with customer spend across Ciena solutions
- Engage with executive-level customer stakeholders to uncover growth opportunities and differentiate Ciena's offerings from competitors
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in senior sales leadership roles within telecommunications, networking, or related technology industries
- Proven success in managing and growing strategic or global accounts with significant revenue responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead and scale geographically distributed sales teams
- Extensive experience in engaging and negotiating with executive-level customer stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced business degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred
