Senior Director of Strategic Finance

Job Summary

Leading the strategic finance function, the full-time Senior Director of Strategic Finance will manage company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision support while serving as a key partner to the CFO and executive leadership team in a remote-friendly environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and develop the strategic finance team, setting priorities and coaching managers and analysts
• Shape company-wide strategy and investment decisions as the primary finance partner to the CFO and executive team
• Own the financial model and planning cycle, including long-range planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting

Required qualifications:

• 8-10+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or venture capital, with a preference for FinTech or startup experience
• Proven track record leading company-wide planning processes at a high-growth company
• Strong leadership and executive communication skills
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills and familiarity with FP&A software
• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive alignment across functions and levels, including executive and board levels
