Senior Director of Strategic Finance

Job Summary

To support a growing life insurance technology company, the full-time Senior Director of Strategic Finance will manage financial planning processes, enhance financial controls, and provide operational decision support to cross-functional partners in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Implement new processes and improve financial controls to ensure business stability
• Own and drive financial planning and budgeting processes, guiding resource allocation
• Develop and monitor financial performance metrics and deliver insights for strategic initiatives

Required qualifications

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Strategic Finance, with 3+ years at publicly traded or late-stage pre-IPO companies
• Best-in-class Excel skills and experience in developing financial models and quantitative analyses
• Proven experience in building and leading finance teams
• Track record of identifying and deploying AI tools in finance workflows
• Expertise in enterprise financial planning systems (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan)
