Senior Director of Trade Compliance

Job Summary

Leading the development and execution of global trade compliance strategies, the full-time Senior Director of Trade Compliance will manage import/export activities, serve as a key advisor to internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations in a fully remote or hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global trade compliance vision, strategy, and governance structure across all regions and business units
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including EAR, ITAR, and customs regulations, while leading risk assessment and internal audit programs
• Advise executive leadership on trade compliance implications related to strategic business decisions, ensuring alignment with corporate goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree or JD highly desirable
• Over ten years of trade compliance experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors
• Strong expertise in U.S. and international trade regulations
• Proven ability to manage global teams and complex compliance programs
• Experience working effectively with regulatory agencies and managing escalated inquiries
