Job Summary

Leading the design and execution of First Mile pickup operations, the full-time salaried Senior Director of Transportation will manage a $100M+ transportation budget and a team of over 10 managers, optimizing multi-modal transportation solutions in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own First Mile pickup strategy and execution across all transportation modes, ensuring alignment with network needs
• Design and deploy multi-modal pickup models tailored to customer profiles while optimizing cost and service levels
• Oversee transportation spend and develop KPIs for service, cost, and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of relevant experience leading teams and divisions
• Comprehensive understanding of transportation, supply chain operations, and logistics
• Demonstrated ability to design and scale multi-modal transportation solutions
• Strong operational and financial acumen, including P&L ownership and budget accountability
