Senior Director of Transportation
Job Summary
Driving excellence in transportation operations, the full-time Senior Director of Transportation will manage end-to-end performance across LTL, parcel, and courier channels while ensuring service quality, cost management, and strategic alignment within a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive delivery performance metrics, establishing service level standards and leading corrective action planning for service failures
- Manage the transportation P&L, develop annual budgets, and identify cost optimization opportunities through carrier negotiations and network design
- Develop and execute a multi-year transportation strategy, evaluating carrier mix and leading RFP processes for all transportation modes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred
- 12+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain leadership roles
- 8+ years of management experience required
- Certification in CSCP, CLTD, CPIM, or equivalent preferred
