Senior Director of Value-Based Contracting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Value Based Contracting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, structure, and execute payer deals while ensuring alignment with organizational strategy
• Lead the conversion of existing contracts to value-based arrangements and manage the end-to-end execution of health plan contracts
• Oversee new market contracting opportunities and support strategic deal mechanics and negotiations

Required Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience in payer contracting, consulting, or health plan-provider partnerships
• Direct experience with managed care organizations (Medicaid, Medicare, or Commercial)
• Strong understanding of alternative payment models and provider contracting mechanics
• Proven executive decision-making ability with a focus on economic outcomes
• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain strong executive presence with health plans
