Senior Director PMO

Job Summary

Leading a team of Project Managers, the remote contract Senior Director PMO will develop project methodologies, establish governance frameworks, and provide strategic direction to ensure successful portfolio delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish governance frameworks and performance metrics to ensure accountability and transparency across all projects
• Provide strategic leadership to the project team, fostering a culture of excellence in project management
• Oversee project resource allocation, including capacity planning, staffing, and budgeting, to ensure optimal utilization

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in IT project management, including leading a PMO with full HR responsibilities
• Proven track record in developing comprehensive project plans and conducting margin governance analysis
• Experience building governance frameworks from the ground up
• Direct experience with an enterprise PPM tool (e.g., ServiceNow, Clarity, Planview, or similar)
• Expert knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
