Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Disability Claims Examiner to provide exceptional customer service and manage disability claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned block of approximately 75 Long-Term and Short-Term Disability claims, ensuring a seamless experience for clients
  • Engage with clients and internal teams to enhance the claims journey, addressing behavioral health and vocational opportunities
  • Identify and implement process improvements to elevate the claimant experience


Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Long-Term Disability claims
  • Experience with Short-Term Disability claims and Life Waiver of Premium is preferred
  • Ability to communicate confidently with claimants, attorneys, and medical professionals
  • Strong documentation skills for capturing conversations and developing claim plans
  • Advanced math skills for financial calculations related to disability claims
